Beginner Banjo Lessons
Banjo (standard and tenor) lessons for beginners of all ages will typically focus on a variety of manuals for either type of banjo as well as your favourite songs. The training manuals are carefully organised to be fun, specific and engaging while instilling fundamentals for either banjo type, whether its country or Irish music you wish to play. Beginner banjo students will learn fundamentals such as note-reading, reading tab notation, some music theory, technique, play melodies, chords and improvisation. All of our instructors enjoy teaching beginning students, and they provide a caring, comfortable and creative environment for each student.
Intermediate and Advanced Banjo Lessons
Banjo lessons for intermediate students will focus on expanding technique, styles of music, additional theory, and musical refinement, and learning to transcribe notation on staff. Intermediate students are typically graduated out of using training books only and starting to learn more complex pieces of music they wish to play or create for themselves or playing with friends.
Adult Banjo Lessons
Our banjo teachers can help give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to take out your banjo and play your favourite songs for family, friends or house guests. Whatever your goals are, we will help you achieve them in an encouraging, supportive and friendly environment.
